The description of the house was right on the money: unique and retreat-like! It was so peaceful, and superbly decorated that it was a joy to be inside as well as be outside sampling the delicious seafood and pizza of Mystic & Groton, CT. Such a scenic area with many great choices of things to do, that we just have to come back. Hope was attentive to any concern and she has thought of every need a vacationer could have. Excellent rental!

Everything was great for a week stay well equipped for all...

Everything was great for a week stay well equipped for all our needs. Sofa could be more solid as it was made of foam. Really not a big problem as we were out most of our stay. Restaurants were near. The Wood N Tap was great food and a new restaurant everything was clean and the food was amazing we ate there 3 times while on vacation. We went to nautilus fun for the kids. Stonington beach is a small beach but great for kids and has a great view. Groton is close to everything. Mystic seaport was fun to see how sm town villages were run. Over all stay was great going to rent same place next year.

Good location was the ONLY positive thing about this place.

Good location was the ONLY positive thing about this place. We did not feel safe, people were always hanging outside of the door watching as we came and left. We asked to change homes to a different part of the property and we're told that we could not because of the type of booking it was. The beds were not comfortable. Room was very small.

The historic sites in Mystic and the surrounding areas were...

The historic sites in Mystic and the surrounding areas were great. The furthest we traveled to an attraction was about 20 minutes. Mystic had shopping in both the Mystic Village and the downtown area. Quality restaurants abounded. The Mystic Sea Port Museum rivaled Colonial Williamsburg.

Cute town and shops.

Cute town and shops. Beaches in Waterford/ niantic area charge $16 per person for nonresident to walk onto beach or $55 a car. Rocky neck beach is down the road and free if you are a Connecticut resident

The place was clean and charming with a nautical decor. Loved the view of the water as it was located at a marina. Wonderful place with a great breakfast. Just book it you won't be disappointed.

BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY; NICE PEOPLE. THIS WAS MY SECOND VISIT AND I HOPE I CAN STAY LONGER THE NEXT TIME. IT WAS HARD TO FIND PLACES TO EAT OUTSIDE OF THE CASINO (we like to eat at local restaurants & diners) AND WE COULD NOT FIND SOUVENIERS. WE ENDED UP HAVING TO GET SOMEONE TO MAKE US A T-SHIRT.

Groton is a cute little town close to Mystic and easily...

Groton is a cute little town close to Mystic and easily accessible via car. Wood & Tap in Groton was excellent, Michael was our server phenominal and the hostess Saffron was beyond the sweetest thing ever. Liked it so much stopped again on way home. Food was outstanding. Hit Norm's Diner for breakfast, food was very good and worth the 15 minute wait in the rain.

While the town is a bit run down, the scenery surrounding it...

While the town is a bit run down, the scenery surrounding it is beautiful as is the coast. Ocean Park beach is not to be missed. There are good places to eat, fun places nearby to visit, and some wonderful hispanic bakeries (Oven On!)

Quaint town , lots to do shopping and ice cream!Overall great trip , you can visit surrounding towns for great views and eats!I recommend visiting Enders island on the tip of Mason’s Island.We went to Groton,CT on way up to Mystic to see the USS Submarine- that was cool to go on and see inside of one!Mystic Seaport was cool to go on the old ships and the little village houses.Also the Olde Mystic Village( a lot of little shops and food) was great.Everything is in short distance radius, so convenient.

The room was very spacious and was very well stocked with kitchen supplies in the kitchenette area. Bathroom was on the smaller side, but served its purpose. Room was clean, and fresh towels were provided each day. TV was Roku, so getting some channels (like sports) did not work for us. Great location within walking distance to a small, quiet, non-crowded beach with restrooms. The Inn had wagons available for carting things to the beach so you did not need to carry everything. It was also a short walk to a 1 mile boardwalk along the water for walks. Although no pool, the Inn had a nice outside seating area in the back that was quiet. We look forward to returning.
