Super convenient location near the airport with MASSIVE rooms and comfy beds which swallowed us up after a very long day of transatlantic travel and flight delays. The hotel is very quiet and we were able to rest after a nightmare journey which meant we didn’t reach Ithaca until almost 2am. So thankful for this Marriott and pleasantly surprised by it! Would definitely recommend, especially if you have a very early flight to catch or a very late arrival that would make traveling onwards difficult.

I wanted a peaceful stay so that I could focus on my dissertation defense. I got exactly what I wanted, the staff were so friendly, and my bed was comfortable and Wifi dependable.

The Argos Inn is a gem in Ithica. The building and property are so unique, and it's so thoughtfully decorated. The staff were all very kind, warm, and welcoming. Morning coffee in the sunlit breakfast room made for the perfect start to every morning. The beautiful bar and lounge made for the perfect night cap to end the evening. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and had everything we would need. The Inn is conveniently located, only short walk to downtown, to the Cascadilla Gorges, and to Cornell. On-site parking made making day trips to the surrounding area seamless. If back in Ithica, there is no doubt we could come back to the Argos.

My child goes to school at Ithaca College and I have visited...
My child goes to school at Ithaca College and I have visited him several times over the years. There are a lot of things to do and places to eat in Ithaca. We have had fun hiking the gorges and seeing the waterfalls. Walking around Cornell and their Bontanical Gardens is also really nice. On Saturday's the Farmers Market is a fun place to do some local shopping and eating. I don't personally love driving/parking in Ithaca, but it really is the best way to get around.

We didn't do much in Groton. We went to surrounding towns like Ithaca and Cortland. There were many good places to eat within about 20 minutes of the Inn. Getting in and out of Groton was very easy.

Our daughter is a student at IC.
Our daughter is a student at IC. We have enjoyed our 5 years of getting to know Ithaca and the Finger Lakes region. We had fun hiking At Taughannock Falls, watching March Madness at The Westy and Joeys Sports Bar. This weekend we ate at Simeon’s which we enjoyed.

Ithaca is a beautiful, welcoming college town. Good places to eat, lots of outdoor activities, beautiful scenery. Visited the magical park that is Watkin's Glen, Highly recommend the Ithaca Farmer's Market, saw so many waterfalls and enjoyed some delicious wine at wineries and in restaurants carrying local wines.

Groton is a quiet little village between Cortland and Ithaca. It has a restaurant offering pizza and Italian food. There are two dollar stores and two gas stations. We were able to walk to all for little necessities but if we stayed longer we would stock up in the villages/cities nearby.
