Such a nice friendly city.
Such a nice friendly city. Great restaurants that won't break the bank. The 2 I would recommend are Timmy Two Fingers for Lunch/Dinner and Beaus Cafe for breakfast.
A good GPS is all you need. It's easy to get around.
I love anything outdoors and during my stay there was live music at the amphitheater on Midnight Place.

The Stave restaurant near Woodford Reserve is 'dive delicious' with fantastic southern food and a screened in porch. Ask for Wendy. Amsden coffee is good. Proximity of Versailles to the Kentucky Castle, spectacular horse farms, distilleries and both Lexington, and Frankfort is perfect.

Short staffed.
Short staffed. Didn’t receive maid service because they didn’t have our room on the list. Room smelled musty when we arrived. Cable didn’t work, refrigerator had to be plugged in after our food spoiled and then it made terrible noises all night. Every time we went out and came back our key wouldn’t work. Tub had rust . Sink had a slow drain. When we arrived had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone appeared to check us in.

For visiting the Horse farms, Old Friends and Bourbon...
For visiting the Horse farms, Old Friends and Bourbon Distillery's it's a great area outside of busy downtown Lexington. Everything is right there and highways are easy access as well as main roads that are not highways to travel on.

I was driving around Lexington and I also had a couple of...
I was driving around Lexington and I also had a couple of appointments. It was very easy to drive around the city and I found my way around easily. I will definitely return to Lexington again in the near future!
I also drive to Old Fort Harrod State Park. It was a lovely visit to Lexington.

Cute town.
Cute town. We stayed there when we went to Lexington for a concert. It was a nice spot for a romantic get away. Beautiful scenery, lovely little downtown shops, and close enough to Lexington for the stadium concert that we were attending.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. nobody offered to show where the room...
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. nobody offered to show where the room was located, nobody offered to hold spring loaded door for easier passage, nobody offered to call 911 when my partner slipped on the ice and broke her leg. as a matter of fact, the ONLY thing offered us by management, as we were leaving for the ER in the ambulance was the BILL.

Downtown Lexington might be one of those well-kept secrets.
Downtown Lexington might be one of those well-kept secrets. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, feeling of safety, choice of restaurants and bars, historical buildings along with modern structures, chain hotels to choose from, a Target store within walking distance near UK (a rather unique one at that!). Lexington Airport is beautiful!

Location was just off 1-75 easy on easy off.
Location was just off 1-75 easy on easy off. What I didn't like about the place the walls must be very thin. I could hear the neighbor on the phone and who he was talking too. Very annoying especially when your trying to sleep and very early in the morning.
