Also river access close to town could be improved. Food was great shops amazing. Loved all the small businesses. Small town feel with big town comforts.

We came up for the weekend to stay at Kings beach.
We came up for the weekend to stay at Kings beach. We loved the cool, clear water and sandy beach area. What we didn't enjoy was the amount of people that were there this weekend. I would like to come back when there is a fraction of the people.

The beach is very nice but the sandy area is off limits to dogs. The beach to the east of the boat landing is pebbly and rocky but is dog friendly. There are bathrooms and benches along the promenade whichare convenient.

The one bedroom suite with the king bed was AWESOME.
The one bedroom suite with the king bed was AWESOME. The location of this hotel for skiing is the best in all of Palisades. We have been coming to this area for 25 years and this is the Hotel to stay at if you want a great location and no village noise!

Tahoe City was such a great stay with amazing lake views and a really easygoing vibe. Everything was close and convenient and it just felt like the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. I would definitely come back again.

We stayed in the summer.
We stayed in the summer. I loved the location - comfortable without being too touristy. Make sure you book your beach reservations well in advance of your trip; otherwise, you will end up hiking, and if you are from sea level like us, you will feel like you're dying.

House needs a lot of work.
House needs a lot of work. Hot tub out of action due to snow, apparently have been for a long time so we should have been informed and given the option to move booking.
Towel rails falling off the wall.
No hot water for night when we arrived. We had to figure out how to turn it on and let it heat up for day 2.
Bathroom floors were filthy.
Keyless entry didn’t work so kids had to wait in the cold while we sought access to back up key
No cell phone coverage.
Not enough crockery/flatware for a party larger than 4.
Very disappointing for the price point.

Truckee is great. The river was beautiful. A lot of great options for lunch and dinner.
1882 bar and grill was outstanding.
Masa kitchen has great pizza.
Trout creek outfitters is well stocked and helpful.

Great hiking.
Great hiking. Wonderful beaches. make sure to take a boat trip and learn about the lake. Tahoe seems to have a bit of something for everyone. Casinos, biking paths were fabulous. Hiking and nature trails are outstanding. We also notice a wide variety of price levels.

We were attending a wedding at the North Tahoe Event Center, it's a beautiful facility, great location, supper attentive staff, parking fee $10.00. The beaches were crowded, after 5 it started to clear out. We enjoyed shopping in the area; a thrift shop, 2 antique stores and various other gift shops. In the middle of it all was Taco Bell and a 7-11.
