New ZealandGreat spot to stay in Nara. Hotel was clean, room was fairly standard sizing for the Japanese hotels. Location was great, near to lots of good places to eat and withing walking distance to the Kintetsu railway line as well as the nature park and temples. We really enjoyed our stay in Nara, and can recommend the APA hotel as a great place to stay while you visit.

Hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Osaka station, but of course there are few different ways to go there by subway or train. About 5 minutes away there is a street full of shops and restaurant. The room was a bit bigger than normally in APA hotel. Good breakfast in form of the buffet mostly with Japanese food. For me it was good choice.

Very convenient.The staff is very helpful and hospitable.The room is little narrow but OK if it is considered as Japanese standard hotel rooms.I’ d strictly recommend APA hotel.

The beds were comfortable and the location was amazing, the staff were beautiful, friendly and very accommodating (as has been with all japanese customer service during our stay). I did start reading some of the paraphernalia left in the room by the owner of the chain and it came to my attention that the owner of the company is a far right lunatic and denyer of such atrocities such as the rape of Nanking and other assorted, documented and we'll witnessed war crimes. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Shame for his staff as they were amazing.

Once you have stayed at an APA hotel, you have stayed at all of them. Meaning, you understand the concept of a small room, basic amenities and basically a place to sleep but not spend the day.
This APA hotel matches all of that, extra is the public Japanese bath and decent restaurant. It's also right outside of the Osaka Metro with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.

Very convenient location. Rooms were smaller and similar to other APA hotels we stayed. We loved the breakfast spread. It had a variety of Japanese and Western dishes.

Great option close to Shin-Osaka station, with easy access to JR lines, Shinkansen and Osaka metro. As with most APA hotels this is clean, smart and tidy. Rooms are small as with most Japanese hotels but well fitted and functional. The thing I really liked as an extra was the in-house onsen bath, which gave a really nice option for relaxation.

It'a an APA hotel, you kind of know what to expect. Everything worked and the prices are reasonable. The location was very good for both the bus/train station, so it was easy to get to all the places you wanted to go. There was also a communal bath, which my Japanese wife wife made daily use of while we were there.

The APA hotel chain is quite standard across the country so I already knew what to expect, which is something I appreciate. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, fuss-free check-in. Also, I like that the beds are raised, allowing for luggage space.

APA hotels have great amenities and are usually well situated and their amenities are amazing.
Japanese sense of hospitality is truely the best I have experienced for a 3 star hotel.
