APA Hotel Kyoto-eki Horikawa-Dori is conveniently located about a 7-minute walk of JR Kyoto Station and easy access to the Shinkansen bullet train and buses to Kansai Airport. The APA hotel chain truly impressed me—an excellent hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. The room was extremely clean, and the bathroom was spotless. I really liked the shampoo and conditioner provided in the bathroom, both of excellent quality. The amenities were also excellent; there was even a yukata (kimono). The hotel was very close to the train station and easily accessible on foot. There was also a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. To my surprise, the APA hotel in Kyoto had a wonderful onsen, which I enjoyed very much. Having an onsen in the hotel made my stay even more special and truly unforgettable. Please note, however, that tattoos are not allowed. The staff were extremely attentive and polite; I have never been so well treated in a hotel, with such warmth and courtesy. Congratulations to the staff—you are amazing. I was very impressed by the level of excellence in Japan. You made my stay in Kyoto incredible. Thank you very much!

Kyoto Ekimae APA Hotel is 200 metres from Kyoto Train Station and offers free WiFi and simple modern rooms with an LCD TV and an en suite bathroom. Private parking is offered on site. The staff at the concierge are exceptionally helpful. Housekeeping are patient as always and kitchen staff never fail to welcome us in the morning. I’ll definitely come back again.
