With this ticket to the Mishima Sky Walk, you’ll have the chance to walk along Japan’s longest footbridge, which spans a distance of 400 metres above a valley of the Mount Hakone caldera. From the bridge, you can see the ground below from a height of up to 70.6 metres. You can also take in panoramic views of Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji. During your visit, you can take part in activities including ziplining along a 300-metre line and walking across elevated platforms at the Forest Adventure.

During this 25 to 40-minute experience, you'll get to enjoy a sightseeing cruise on board a pirate ship on a lake. You'll cruise from either Togendai-ko, Hakone-machi-ko or Moto-Hakone-ko, taking in views of the lake and its surrounding scenery. You'll have the option to choose between a return or one-way ticket. There will be a special room available at an extra charge where you can enjoy the cruise away from the crowds.

The tour I‘m offering is basically for nature-loving guests. The guests will walk around relatively flat areas as opposed to hiking steep mountains, so the guests can spend more time in appreciating the nature of Hakone with a certified professional nature guide. The nature in Hakone is very unique in its creatures and geological aspects. The guests will meet wild plants of the season some of which are endemic only this part of Japan and the world. Also, the guests will spot resident and migratory wild birds, insects, local fish, and if lucky mammals such as weasels, deer, foxes, raccoon dogs, and so on. During the tour, the guests are suggested to use binoculars that the guide will bring for each guest during the tour as it is very handy to spot creatures and see far-off landscapes for the unique geological features of Hakone. Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship, which began in the Edo period, has been carried on to this day, and students of Tennen Rishin-ryu practice at the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo to hone their swordsmanship skills. You can learn the essence of Tennen Rishin-ryu at the actual dojo. The swordsmen who practiced the Tennen Rishin-ryu in Hino City formed the Shinsengumi, said to be the strongest group of swordsmen, at the end of the Edo period and were known as the Last Samurai. You can feel the history and culture of the Last samurai by experiencing swordsmanship in Hino City, the hometown of the Shinsengumi. Masao Inoue, the chairman of the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo and a descendant of the Shinsengumi executive Genzaburo Inoue, will lead the experience program. You can actually handle a Japanese sword, which is said to be the soul of the samurai. The experience of touching the soul of the samurai will surely transform you.
