Dear travellers to Moldova! I would like to greet you warmly in my home country and introduce you to our little country. On the map of Eastern Europe, Moldova is still an unexplored country. On our one-day tour, we visit a place that can surprise Moldova – state within Moldova – tiny Transnistria, which is not found on the world map. We show and tell you about people's everyday lives, our culture and values, typical Moldovan delicacies. Lunch is served at the inn in the Bulgarian village at the locals'. On the tour we visit the fortress of Bendery, on the city walk we learn about the historical events that had shaped this region. We look at the Soviet monuments, Lenin and Suvorov monuments, the majestic building and memorial sites.

If you want to feel the breath of the former Soviet Union, we invite you to visit Transnistria. It will be exciting and interesting. This region was formed after the war in 1992 and is independent from Moldova, although officially it is considered to be part of Moldova. It has its own currency, own president and three official languages. We will visit places and buildings from the former USSR. You will see Lenin monuments, the majestic House of Soviets in the style of Stalinism, the 16th century Bendery fortress. You will visit the USSR canteen, where many old Soviet things are collected . The highlight of your trip will be visit to a private guesthouse Usadba Acasa in a Bulgarian village of Parcani,where we will go for lunch. You will get an excellent opportunity to visit one of the oldest wine productions in Moldova - the wine cellars of Cricova Winery, most visited in Moldova. It represents an unique underground city, well-known all over the world by its huge labyrinths of streets, & especially by its excellent wines. It's also a good way to visit the most valuable natural and cultural heritage of Moldova - Old Orhei reservation, together with Curchi Monastery, which is one of the most beautiful monasteries in our country. Wine culture is such a big part of Moldova heritage. The story of Milestii Mici Winery begins in an old stone-extracting mine, where the extraction of limestone over the years inadvertently created the perfect environment for wine maturation and storage. The Mileștii Mici winery is known for having tunnels over a total length of 200km and the largest wine cellar in the world. Today, the collection exceeds 2 million bottles and can be visited at any time of the year, with a constant underground temperature between 12-14 degrees Celsius. The winery is located approximately 16 kilometers south of Chișinău, in the Ialoveni district. Embarking on a journey to Mileștii Mici Winery offers not just a taste of exceptional wines but also an immersive experience into Moldova's rich cultural and historical tapestry.

Located on the banks of the Dniester River, Tipova Monastery stands out as a remarkable rock-hewn monastic complex, arguably the most impressive in Moldova and one of the largest in Europe. With multiple levels spread over a generous area, this monastery once housed over 700 monks in its hermitages, and today, there are hundreds of monk cells in the surrounding area. The origin of the monastic community dates back long before the establishment of the Moldovan feudal state. It is said that some cells were carved into the rocks along the banks of the Dniester as early as the 10th-12th centuries, serving as protection against barbarian invasions. The landscape in this area is simply stunning: the tranquil waters of the Dniester, steep cliffs concealing hundreds of cells and caves, the beauty of nature, and waterfalls. After exploring Tipova reservation we will continue our tour in a very picturesque village - Lalova, where wwe will take a lunch in a nice guesthouse - Hanul lui Hanganu.

Manuc Bey mansion in Hâncești is a destination that must be found on the map of your trip. Built at the beginning of the 19th century, in 1816, Manuc Bei Mansion is an architectural monument located in the Hâncești district of the Republic of Moldova, which has a rich history. After exploring Manuc Bei Mansion we will continue our tour in a unique place - Gagauzia, populated by a unique Gagauz ethnic minority. What the Turkish speaking population from Bulgaria is doing in Moldova - is a very good question, which can be only understood by visiting this region. Nowadays, Gagauzia is an agricultural region, populated by hard-working and hospitable people, who keep their autonomy and still keep in very good condition their history and traditions. Overall, the tour is about 8 hours 15 minutes and transportation is already included in the total duration. It includes visits to historic and cultural sites of Gagauzia, together with a visit to Manuc Bei Mansion in Hancesti district.
