This tour will introduce you to another side of Cyprus as you head up into the Troodos Mountains. You'll begin with a coffee stop at a typical village before continuing to Kykkos Monastery at the summit of Mount Kykkos. You'll have the chance to admire the decorated interiors, replete with frescoes and religious icons. You'll have free time to wander the grounds and admire the mountain views. Next, you'll head to Throni Hill to visit the elaborate tomb of Archbishop Makarios III. You'll descend into Pedoulas to have lunch at a village restaurant, where you'll be served typical Cypriot dishes. There will be time for an optional walk up to the Orthodox church of the Holy Cross before the return trip. On the way back, you'll stop off at Prodromos lookout point and break for another coffee.
