Inside, you can visit the Halls of the Government of the Republic, the rooms of the Grand Ducal family, the Sala dei Gigli, the Sala delle Geografiche and the Sala della last Chancellor of the Republic. But the main attraction is the Salone dei 500, entirely frescoed by Giorgio Vasari. Nowadays, the building also represents the seat of the Municipality of Florence.
