On this tour, you'll visit the archaeological site of Pompeii and get up close to the volcano that destroyed the ancient city. Your first stop will be the excavated ruins, today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll spend around two hours exploring the site with a guide, learning about the lives of Romans past. You'll have the option to visit a traditional restaurant on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius for lunch, and you can add wine tasting to your experience. The second half of the tour will take you up the volcano by car, followed by a short walk to the summit. From here, you can look into the crater and take in stunning views over the landscape.
