This tour will take you from Mandalay to three ancient cities, where you’ll get the opportunity to explore the cultural and historical heritage of Myanmar.
You’ll first head to Amarapura. You’ll visit the 20th-century Mahāgandhāyon Monastery and learn about traditional weaving practices in a local workshop. You’ll continue to Sagaing, crossing the Ava Bridge on the way. You’ll be able to discover the Buddhist shrines of Umin Thonze and Sun U Ponnya Shin.
After a lunch break, you'll travel to Inwa. You’ll have the option to explore the city in a horse carriage or take a boat ride along the river. You’ll get the chance to visit the historic Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, Nanmyin Watch Tower and other landmarks. To round off the tour, you’ll be able to enjoy the sunset from U Bein Bridge.
