You will explore the enigmatic archaeological zone of Chichén Itzá, the great Mayan ceremonial centre recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you move through the site, you will see the impressive Kukulcán’s Temple, considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, alongside other monumental structures that reflect the area’s historical and cultural importance.
The tour also includes a visit to the ecotourism centre SUYTUN — a Mayan name meaning “Center of Stone” — set in the Caribbean jungle of Yucatán. There you will find a natural cenote (a cavern with water) with crystalline, underground waters. According to Mayan belief, these sacred waters are protected by a mythological guardian of the jungle called an Alux, and you will be able to refresh in the cenote during your visit.
