This private tour for up to nine people is led by experienced guides and will take you through some of Yucatán’s most memorable sights. In the morning you will stroll around Chichen Itza, the ancient Mayan city that is on the list of the Seven New Wonders of the World and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. As you move through the site, your guide will explain its history and significance.
Along the way you will relax at a cenote, a natural limestone pool where you can bathe and unwind. You will also visit a tequila factory, where you will learn how real tequila tastes and the differences between Tequila Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Extra Añejo and Antigua; after the distillery visit you can buy Mexican liquors. A stop at a mercado local will allow you to get to know the authentic flavours of the Yucatán and see exotic fruits and vegetables. Finally, you will visit Valladolid, a town on the Pueblo Magico list and considered one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico, where you can take in its charm as your guide points out local highlights.
