On this guided tour of Lima, you’ll see the architectural and historical highlights of the city’s UNESCO-listed centre. You’ll also visit two of Lima’s most notable museums.
Starting in the Pueblo Libre district, you’ll discover 5,000 years of pre-Colombian art at the Larco Musuem, which occupies a restored 18th-century viceregal mansion. You’ll see more Peruvian art inside the 16th-century colonial mansion Casa de Aliaga before walking through Lima’s historic centre, where you’ll see the architecture of the Spanish Empire and visit the city’s main square.
Before being taken back to your hotel, you’ll explore the Cathedral of Lima, which reflects Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical and Renaissance architectural styles.
