The property is stunning and the location and the view are breathtaking. In fact the pictures do no justice to the reality and all the island sounds you hear, specially the birds in the morning. The kitchen in the unit is complete, beds and couches are great and the AC works perfectly. Both the property manager and the owner were available at all times and were friendly and answered any questions or requests right away. We had minor issues and they promptly fixed it. There is a restaurant in the property that is delicious, just make sure you check days and times it is open, it may impact you if you are arriving later at night. Also make sure to purchase groceries before you drive to the property since it is a 40 min drive from the airport. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy, this is it!

Our host was amazing - he gave us a lot of good advice and also took us on a short trip to his tropical fruit and plant farms! The house itself is a mini-farm in the backyard and is so lovely to stay in! We had everything we needed. Also, nearby is a bus stop that goes to English harbour and its lovely Pidgeon Point beach, as well as another bus goes into St John's. There is a delicious street food 5 mins down the street, too. Overall, great location, and amazing place to stay!

I was only meant to stay at this place for a week but extended my stay with them for a whole month and could not have been happier. The location was amazing! Very quiet area but the parking allows you to be able to drive around the island easily and not worry about where to park at night! Only 5 minutes down the road is Long Bay which is a gorgeous beach and lovely spot to spend the day. Bernadette and her husband are incredible welcoming and made me feel right at home.

The location is perfect great access to English harbour,Shirley Heights and pigeon point beach to name a few great places it is quiet and relaxing. Plenty of car parking and fab views to boot i would like to add! The rooms are all well kept and very clean and well furnished too! We took great care to turn of lights and power points which are plenty! We also saved water being an island water and power are hard to maintain so my advice is to any one is do your bit to help this lovely Island. I have stayed here before and this is the reason for coming back i cannot speak highly enough about this great place and great hosts Ron and Dinah both are pretty much dab hands and i found them extremely helpful and reliable. As you walk through the main entrance keep a sharp eye for Humming birds! The flowers and shrubs are just so lovely. The varandah i found was a great place to see the day dawn...... Peaceful and relaxing. . . with a cup of coffee in hand i felt i was in heaven! I hired a car which is well worth doing and please visit Shirley Heights for the picture of a life time! The other place i found nice was Longbay beach! Thanx Ron and Dinah you guys are amazing hosts see you in March. . . . .Cannot wait!
