If you want to stay in an 150 year old house which is in perfect shape, very nicely/ individually decorated and run by super nice landlords, then this is the pace to go. You will get a feeling how wealthy people in earlier days were living. Having breakfast in their living room is spectacular. Staying there is worth every dollar. Just go and enjoy.

The Dunlop Motel is a very comfortable, quiet. Mike, the owner is very friendly. We left a portable speaker there by accident and Mike called to say I had left it behind. He is going to hang on to the speaker until we go next time which there will be.

This property is amazing! It is very welcoming and has ALL the amenities your could ask for! The location was perfect for me as I was between Bayfield and Goderich each day. It is a very relaxing and quiet setting on the beach. The host was welcoming, kind and friendly. I definately look forward to visiting again!! Thanks soooooo much!!

Very welcoming hosts, 5 stars property with pool and private beach. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped with all we needed for our gate away. Beautiful Sunset can be seen right from the backyard of the property.

Family owned hotel , staff are nice,accommodating and making sure we enjoyed our stay. Different experience than a chain hotel . Close drive to the beach both to Goderich and to Bayfield. The room and hotel were clean , no carpet which is great if you allergic to dust like me . The fridge has a freezer - great to bring ice packs to the beach to cool your food and beverages. At the first day we received 2 complimentary pops and 2 bottles of water which was thoughtful. Pool is great, less harmful than chlorine , has salt .

Clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Easy location for driving to dinner, country-side and beach, and towns along the shore. I liked the patio and view over the river.

I liked the owners. Nice couple who obviously care about their clients. The motel was exceptionally clean. Beds were very comfortable. Very close to the downtown core and lots of historical sites. Great free parking. The kind of motel I would love to spend a week at with my kids. Lots of things to see and do and the Goderich beach is certainly a bonus. Really enjoyed my stay.

The rooms in this place are very modern and comfortable.They also have an indoor pool and sauna which is very relaxing. It's also close to all the restaurants and the beach. The hosts are very friendly and know the area well.
