Hotels That Guests Love in Tofino
  • Comfy bed, amazing views from room, beach access, hot tubs, and great price!

  • The views from Duffin Cove are amazing as many rooms have a full or almost full view of the ocean and one of the small islands surrounding the magical place called Tofino. We stayed in two different rooms. One that was super modern and one that was cosy, had a full kitchen but is in need of some upgrading (which they are working on). Great place with its own beach and very close to everything in Tofino - we would definitely consider going back.

  • Quiet location with great ocean front views. Wonderful walking to the beaches. A short drive to Tofino for food and supplies.

  • This lodge was a home-like environment with three rooms. It was clean and a lovely place to stay while visiting Tofino. Since it's not a hotel, there is no room service, no front desk, etc. It was cute and warm. The lodge provided bath towels as well as separate towels for the beach. There was a complimentary wi-fi which worked well for most of the time. The owners had also left tips where to eat and what to do in Tofino.

  • The host was very nice and even provided us with a map of Tofino Area. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The whirlpool and the washing machine are a big plus. And the beach is right across a small street. We loved it!

The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Tofino mean to you?

The beach meant warm sun on my back and shoulders and soft warm sand under my bare feet. The welcome sound of the water lapping on the shore and waves breaking over the rocks. Happy surfers laughing and sharing stories of great rides and wipe outs. Beautiful young people catching some rays. Dogs making friends with other dogs and allowing themselves to be petted(with permission from their owners, of course). You get the idea.
It's not a tropical destination; it's pure west coast. Often foggy/drizzly in the morning/daytime. But the rainforest and its beaches are stunning in my opinion, regardless of the weather.
Beaches were plentiful, clean and with pleasing views. Were hoping for a good storm watch, but this didn't occur. Also enjoyed the walks in the forested park.
Expansive, beautiful, inspiring, rejuvenating, photographer's dream.
Nice quiet beaches.
A vast wild space. Being on the edge of a continent. Knowing the Pacific Ocean was between us and another country. The wonder of tide change. The rhythm of waves rolling onto the beach. The magnificence of the rain forest. The total experience. Favorite place, South Beach, Schooner's Cove and the hike in and Tonquin Beach. wonder of the bog. I have visited the area numerous times and am always in awe of the wild beauty, the ecosystems and thank you Parks Canada for protecting this biosphere
