The breakfast was delicious and every day something else. They even gave us some food to go on one day when we had to leave early. The room was nice, clean and simple. All staff was very friendly.

The location is very convenient to visit Mindelo by foot and even the very nice Laghina beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a good breakfast buffet to start the day.

Everything was perfect. Perfect location right on the port with a stunning view. Very clean and big room. Very delicious food at the restaurant of the hotel. Breakfast with a view. A swimming pool with a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Keriana and George. I will definitely stay there again. Very recommended.

I thought my days of staying in hostels were over (I'm 55) and I booked this a bit last minute as I was travelling and not too sure of my plans until the day before. It was very clean and comfortable and while there were shared bedrooms with dorms there were also some twin, triples and a single room option. So I had a room for myself with an ensuite bathroom and it was as nice as any hotel. Everything feels brand new and high quality. There is a nice cafe downstairs to get breakfast and other snacks / meals (including alcohol) although there is no communal place to cook your own food which some might expect in hostels but this wasn't an issue for me at all. The location is very central and close to the beach and shops / restaurants. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The WIFI is great! This was crucial for me because I had a couple of online meetings that I had to do and they were video calls and it was a strong and reliable connection.

Casa Comba is a great choice for a stay in Mindelo. The property is clean, well-located, and offers reliable Wi-Fi, a delicious breakfast, and a lovely terrace. What truly sets it apart, however, is the outstanding hospitality of the local staff. Friendly, welcoming, and multilingual, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. They assisted me in renting a scooter and generously shared their knowledge of the area, offering valuable tips and recommendations.

I am very happy to have returned to this excellent Mindelo hotel. Great staff, nice room with a nice balcony, nice breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Great location if you are able bodied and can walk. Great view of the town. I would stay again. I walked alone through this neighbourhood as a white guy with no issues day and night.

Very warm welcome at the reception desk, professional check-in process. Beautiful, large, clean, well-equipped room with a very comfortable double bed. Beautiful, large balcony with (partially) fantastic sea views. (Which would be even more fantastic without this unnecessarily new, huge hotel complex! ;-)) Great location, right next to the wonderful "Praia Da Laginha" beach. Several very good restaurants are within easy walking distance. Mindelo city centre can be reached in 15 minutes on foot, or very quickly by local buses. Good breakfast, including many local delicacies, in the nice breakfast room with an outdoor area.

Lina Elisa and Victor were wonderful hosts — incredibly kind and always ready to help in any situation. The place itself is very charming and centrally located, making it easy to reach both the city center and the port. Breakfast was also good. Overall, we were very, very happy with our stay. Highly recommended!

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Lazareto, and it truly felt like a home away from home for me. The breakfasts were nice, with such generous portions that I often packed a little something to enjoy during my day trips around the area. Peaceful Location Nestled in a quiet village spot, it’s about a 30-40 minute walk along the shore to Mindelo, which I loved as a relaxing way to start the day away from city hustle. Excellent location near the beach. Bus stop very near, so a 5-7 minute ride to the city center or less to the marina, both also very walkable (15-20 minutes)  Clean spaces, both the room and bathroom are impeccable. Towels and even beach towels provided. The room has a water cooker, coffee and tea etc, which is very convenient. But you can also use the kitchen (and fridge) if you like. Furthermore the room has a small table/desk with chairs and a (sunnny) balcony. So perfect if you want to work remote or have a nice quite start of the day and read/write etc. The host/Tommaso helped me plan my trip to Santo Antão and I able to leave some of my luggage👌🏽 Supermarkt downstairs can exchange euro for a good rate. Btw Oscar is the name of the cat 😺 not the owner/host. He usually keeps to his own quarter, but every now and then he wants to explore a bit. You share a large appartment with the friendly and helpful owner, you have your own bathroom and room, so everything is great.

Elisa is a great host! She always helped in what needed. The place is near the center, 10 minutes and 2€ in táxi. Finding taxis is not a problem. There’s reception until 00h00. There is a supermarket inside the building until 20h00
