There was nothing we didn’t like. Bed and room were sooo comfy. Staff were great. Restaurant closed until Wednesday but pizza venue next door was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. Location next to lake which we viewed whilst sitting on our balcony sipping beer. Heaven

This 4-star superior hotel in Grainau is beside the Eibsee lake, directly at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain. It offers free Wi-Fi, a modern spa and many recreational opportunities.

The view from our room was marvelous. The room was big, clean, equipped with everything. Good breakfast and dessert. Appreciated the snacks served between breakfast and dinner. Plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from, good cocktails. I appreciated the private sundeck with sunbeds and that the SUPs and canoes were for free, as well as life vests and paddles. The self service bar was a nice touch too. Even though we discovered it on our own, since no one actually told us about it. Even if I did not use the service, I think it's cool they provide bikes for rental. I appreciated we received the Grainau Card, even if we didn't really use it. But a cute gesture. Parking with a lot of spaces, only for hotel guests.

The hotel was both charming and comfortable. For the most part all of the staff spoke great English since our German is not the best. The breakfast offered included all the food and more that we could hope for. All of the activities we wanted to do were within reasonable driving distance. In the evenings we enjoyed walking to the lakes to see the beautiful scenery.
