Friendly welcome from our hosts and were given lots of tips about the nearby area and the beach which was really nice and sandy with clean water. Thank you Michael! Could have easily stayed longer but had to get the ferry the next morning. Ideal for the ferry only 18km’s. Extremely spacious accommodation, very tastefully decorated. Kitchen was complete. Nice outside seating area for the evening. (Was unusually warm 29 degrees). Lovely views opposite across a wheat field. Quiet rural area.

Situated 200 metres from Tannis Bay and a North Sea bathing beach, this hotel dates back to the late 1890s and consist of 5 buildings.

Really friendly hosts made me feel very welcome. The location is very peaceful and serene, right opposite from a friendly quiet local pub. I slept like a baby and would definitely come back again in the future.
