Location is perfect! We had the English Room… what a treat. It was big, bright and extremely comfortable. The windows open onto the harbour offering first hand viewing of boats and related activities. This accommodation was the best out of our UK 3 week stay.

The Slipway B&B is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1527 and is located opposite Port Isaac harbor.

My room had the best view in the house. I set me computer up at the window and could see the harbor, the buildings and, of course, Doc Martin's house. IT was all made more charming by seeing the people walk along the road. The host, Marvyn was really sweet and very helpful. He's funny too. His gallery with his artwork is another attraction. The woman who works there, hey Jude, as I call her, and her name is Jude, was especially helpful. I needed a taxi to go back to the train station to get my train to London and she made sure I got the very best there was. She sent Marco, not sure of spelling, to get me there. He is the best and a local historian and on the road to the station, he made side trips for me and gave me the history, and his life story, which was fascinating. I would, and will, stay here again and again. But Marco has to take me to the train station. There is more history to learn. It was a wonderful trip and lovely people at the Gallery. Hey Jude, I will be back. Get my info from M.

The location is absolutely fabulous - only a very short walk down to the pebbled/sandy beach. Swimming here is not allowed due to the undercurrent, but a little further walk along the coastline and you have the swimming beach. There is a lovely large lawn out front, perfect for watching the sun go down. The sound of the waves at night at far enough to be soothing. We loved our seaview! The staff were all very welcoming and answered any questions that needed answering. There is a lovely big pub just around the corner from OA Surf Club and Bude is only a 10 minute car drive, absolutely bustling with life and fab restaurants and pubs.

Polzeath Beach House is a new contemporary Boutique Hotel, opened in 2020. Overlooking Polzeath Beach, it is a 2-minute walk down to the sea and large sandy beach.

Excellent accommodation - clean and excellent facilities. The staff were superb. Breakfast was excellent. VERY short walk to Summerleaze beach and sea pool, both of which we spent a lot of time at. We also very much enjoyed cocktails on the terrace, particularly watching the sunset on our final night. Bliss!
