Beach Hotels in Scalea

De Rose is a beautiful ‘70s resort with an authentic luxury aesthetic that my (younger) generation is hungry for. Beautifully furnished room with a renovated bathroom. The swimming pool is huge and has nice views. The staff was attentive. The private beach area is great and has a bar.

Great location. Nice and helpful staff, clean rooms. Amazing safe parking. Had everything what was needed. Would definitely recommend! 🙂

The room was spacious, clean, tidy, and comfy. The hotel is 3minutes walking distance from the beach. The staff is kind and the breakfast is delicious.

Superb, superb, superb, superb & exceptional

We were travelling as a family with small baby. This place was very convenient for us with the pool and facilities. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach, italian breakfast with lovely pastries and delicious homemade cakes. The host was very accommodating for all our needs (incl. baby bed, kettle and bottle warmer). The rooms were very clean and the garden and pool area felt like a little oasis. We also enjoyed nearby horse riding, Naussica restaurant and sushi place.

Breakfast was a selection of sweet pastries, packaged toasted bread with condiments, juice, and expresso. It is brought to you in your room on a tray. The lady that came each day to provide the breakfast and clean the rooms was a delight. I never asked, but its seems like she may have been the wife of the man that had arrived to book me in. I heard no other people staying there when i was there. it seems maybe there is about 3-4 rooms. Its a very well presented, modernised house in the old town.

big and clean room with perfect view from the window/balcony 😉 everything looks fresh, free water in the fridge, shower gel and soap... check in fast, owner very kind, have a bar near apartments, even with vegan food options. Quite place, near wine bar with lovely music from oldies 😉 all perfect for short or long stay.

Very friendly host, excellent breakfast served in the room. We enjoyed having breakfast in the private balcony. The apartment is new and decorated with taste. At 5 min on foot from the train station.

We stayed at Agrilao for four nights in August and it was an excellent experience. Pino, the owner, is a remarkable host: cordial, attentive, and always available to assist. His hospitality made our family of five feel very welcome. The facilities are well maintained. The swimming pool was spacious, clean, and very enjoyable, while breakfast was pleasant, with the cappuccino being particularly noteworthy. Another distinctive feature of Agrilao is its direct access to the river. Just a short walk from our room led us to a beautiful, tranquil spot surrounded by nature. The on-site restaurant deserves special mention. Managed by a couple who prepare handmade pasta, it offers an authentic culinary experience. We highly recommend trying the scialatielli, which truly captures the essence of traditional local cuisine. The location of Agrilao is also ideal. Within a short distance, there is a rafting and quad centre where we were able to enjoy rafting with our young children. The property is also conveniently close to the mountains, the picturesque village of Orsomarso, and the seaside town of Scalea. Furthermore, we strongly recommend the scenic drive from Scalea to Maratea, which combines breathtaking seaside views with mountain landscapes. In summary, Agrilao offers a perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and authentic local experiences. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in this region.

A lovely large hotel which at first shocks with the many rooms, but is very well located and very comfortable for guests. Clean, large room with a large terrace. The restaurant is on the second floor and has a wonderful view of the pool and the sea. In the evening there is wonderful entertainment with songs and dances for children and adults. There is free parking next to the hotel.
