We stayed in multiple places on the island and this was our favorite! if you are not looking for luxury but instead an authentic experience, you should definitely stay here! The family owning the homestay made sure we’re comfortable at all times and get to experience all the local foods and snacks, plus anything else we asked for! We spend our time playing with the local kids and getting an insight into the local life on the island far from all the commercialized tourism in this small fishermen village. Also the best view of the sunset on the island and direct access to the sea. We are definitely coming back when in Camiguin in the future! Thank you for everything!

Agoho is a beautiful resort located by the sea with a view towards White Island and easy access to good restaurants. We are staying here for five nights - we have already stayed four. The rooms are nice and very clean and there are only four rooms. There is a small terasse in from of each hut, but the really great thing is the cozy shared terasse with hammoch, couches and lights at night. From the terasse you can watch the garden and the ocean and enjoy the mornings with all the birds waking up, as well as the beautiful sunsets. The staff are so nice and helpful. This is really a little gem, and I would for sure stay here again going to Camiguin.

Really nice location just a bit up the hill surrounded by green area but still well connected only a few minutes away from the main town on the island. Has a cute little flower garden and a pool. We really enjoyed the privacy and the fully equipped kitchen. House was overall well furnished with all the comfort needed and probably the most proper bathroom I’ve seen in a while. We particularly enjoyed having our breakfast up on the balcony. The host Domenico and other staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

It is a very special and private hotel with 4 villas SUPER well equipped, including a fresh and cold water dispenser, wine fridge with plenty of bottles, silent AC, walking shower (internal and external) and extremely comfortable bed. They offer free transfer from and to the airport, arrange motorbike for you with a competitive cost. It is next door to the White Island Boat terminal (you can actually see the island from the hotel beach), and the garden and pool cant be cleaner and well cared. The breakfast is outstanding: fresh bread with butter and variety of home made jellies, eggs, hame, crepes, fresh cut fruit and juice and freshly brewed coffee. The place is animal friendly, with very gentle dogs and cats which will not bother you at all, but just look for love and cuddles. The staffing is super kind and helpful. I cant recommend this place enough. 10/10 value for money!

I enjoyed my stay at Balihao so much it's hard to know where to start. The thing that first struck me was how friendly and welcoming all the staff were on arrival, I chose the pick up from the airport by one of the owners Steve and was taken to the resort in a comfortable air conditioned car, I think this was well worth doing and used the service again several times during my stay. When I arrived I was given a coconut drink, cold towel and there were a friendly line of receptionists greeting me with a sign with my name on saying welcome which was a lovely touch, as soon as I was shown to my villa I was very impressed with the size, privacy and tasteful decor particularly for the price. The owners have clearly thought very carefully about the sympathetic design of these villas but they also have a luxury feel and very homely, I particularly loved the outside shower this was such a nice way to wake up each morning. What I began to learn during my stay was the incredible story of the property, once a family home and then a familys dream to run a resort that supported the community and island they grew up on, run sustainably and using all local ingredients and sustainable solar even named after the local bird that I saw several times living above my villa! The restaurant and bar is also worth a separate mention, the food was refreshingly different with a healthy but delicious spin and I tried some things I hadn't eaten before but would absolutely have again, the food had so much flavour and the fruit and vegetables are all sourced locally and taste incredible, the cocktails are also different and feature local fruits, I tried most of them and couldn't find one that I didn't like!

Very cozy, you really feel at home. The owners are very much welcoming and accommodating. Very clean and bed is so comfy. There is a kitchen which you can freely use. Very close to the airport and the main town centre. Will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!
