Among all the rentals we have enjoyed in Portugal over the years, this was one of the two best. The host family (parents, daughter, puppy Charlotte) received us with unparalleled kindness, generosity and affection. The apartment, rented for 17 days, is spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped, perfect in every way. Located on a magnificent country property, it opened for us the dramatic history of the Azores archipelago as well as its dynamic present. When an important religious pilgrimage procession stopped at the property, we were kindly welcomed to the celebration. As we left for the airport yesterday, we were accompanied to the gate and presented with gifts as reminders of our remarkable experience.

A beautiful villa with all the amenities you might need. The garden view is so nice! and Claudia is very helpful. I recommend this place and will definitely go back if I'm in Ponta Delgada again.

The location was very central, while still being a bit removed from the louder areas in town. The staff really went above and beyond, especially Emilia who always gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants, ice cream shops and sites.

Clean, quiet, perfect for a short overnight stay. After enduring a delayed flight and a very late arrival, we appreciated the special treat of two chocolate muffins the host left on the table for us. In addition, the host went over and above anything we expected by dropping us off at the airport for a very early departure, then coming back, unasked, to bring us something we'd left in the apartment.
