We loved this place! We felt like home. Atmosphere was warm and hospitable. It was an amazing experience to live with all these cats, dogs, geese and hens, to get up to the rooster's crow. Vitor lit the fireplace every evening, cooked fantastic breakfast, gave us useful recommendations. Once we walked to the ocean, and the route took just 20 minutes by feet through the forest to see amazing sunset. Our 2 year old son didn’t want to leave, he was crying. All of us was sad, when leaving, because we spent happy days at Vitor’s house. We are grateful to Vitor for this unforgettable vacations.

Casas Do Moinho is located between Odeceixe village and Malhadais village. It is a quiet and nice location by the main small village road. The Odeceixe village might be noisy in the summer, so this location is perfect and easy to reach with a car or by foot from the Odeceixe or Malhadais villages. The room is spacey and the view to the pool and fields is stunning. The morning at the balcony with a sunshine was beautiful. The breakfast was made from the local high quality products. It wasn't the biggest, but perfect for us. The hotel rooms are mostly a single apartments by the road. Typical Portuguese cute village buildings from outside, but well decorated and with wooden floors. The quality was all great. The amazing Odeceixe beach is not far away. 5 minutes with a car. The roads runs next to the Seixe river. With a morning mist it is like a dream drive. Highly recommended.
