Hekaya is located in a beautiful, peaceful beach location. Compared to other places we stayed in Zanzibar, we liked the vibe on the beach here the most. Just down the beach from the Rock and lots of nice restaurants up and down the beach. The water is clear and blue without sea urchins. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We especially loved being able to take our meals on our sunny, private balcony free of charge. Great accommodation in a fantastic location near the beach, with a very friendly, courteous and helpful owner. A big thank you again for your wonderful support when my suitcase didn't arrive. The accommodation is a great starting point for activities. Pingwe has a fantastic beach, and even at low tide, you can take a short walk to the sandbank and enjoy a wonderful swim.

Hotel Club Dongwe has an excellent location. We enjoyed snorkelling there. The staff are very friendly. We had a wonderful time!

This was the most special and beautiful place I stayed in Zanzibar. This is not a standard Hotel or even backpackers usual place. Carol or Bibi Mrembo as the locals call her opens the doors of her house for you and with her kindness and welcoming vibe makes the stay and moments with her to be so special. Loved my time here and the time I spent with her discovering the surroundings, snorkeling and having lunch together. Definitely, my place in Zanzibar. Long life Carol and keep vibing as you do. Big kiss!

It is a beautiful place with enough privacy and some charming details. The pools were great. The breakfast at the neighbouring restaurant was very nice with a good variety.

We were warmly received by Ms Supati, and she and her staff were most kind, friendly and helpful to us. My wife had an injured leg, and she was offered transport by comfortable golf cars across the hotel area when she needed it. The water in the pool seems to be seawater that is replaced every day, which we did not see before in Zanzibar. The food is splendid and varied, and we enjoyed the Swahili dinners! One of a kind even in Zanzibar is that you may snorkel straight from the hotel!

We were very happy , very good location , calm beach ( no beach boys which can ruined your relax), the appartment was top notch and clean. Also personel was very friendly and helpful. You will also find one of the best food in neighbour restaurant - "Wishing Tree" and perhaps their best octopus served in whole Zanzibar (coocking by Italians). This holiday home is an absolut recommendation for visitors to Zanzibar, whether looking for peace or as a starting point for active exploration of the island. The house is located directly on the wonderful Michamvi beach within sight of the Rock Restaurant and just a few kilometers from Jozani National Park. It offers several bedrooms and wonderfully designed lounges with all the necessary equipment. The garden with the pool belonging to the house is beautifully landscaped and also offers numerous opportunities for relaxation - always with an overwhelming sea view. But the best thing was the friendly staff, who gave us a warm welcome and were always there to help and advise us. The included breakfast was rich and tasty and the additional dinner was also great. We would like to thank our friendly hosts for the excellent care.

Quiet place. Not far from rock restaurant. Good rooms .good chef .nice people. But the water was only hard water and needed to be purified well. Side that. Everything was excellent

A very good hotel for anyone who like solitude and own time. Beaches are not crowded, location is exotic and near to rock restaurant. Staff were very supportive and friendly.

We’ve stayed at Baladin for 3 incridible nights, I loved so much the whole experience. The food is amazing, the beach is awesome, It was a great experience!

We really felt at home at the Hotel Mia Boutique. From the warm welcome when we arrived late at night to the emotional farewell on our day of departure. The entire staff was extremely friendly throughout the days and always ready to help with anything. Whether breakfast or dinner, everything was excellent. The rooms are as in the pictures, the bathroom is kept simple as a large wet room. The Airconditioning worked perfectly, rooms were cleaned every day and also sprayed with mosquito repellent. The transportation service from the airport also worked perfectly. There was nothing that bothered us. A big thank you to all the staff for a great time. We hope to visit you again soon.

Everything was excellent, from being greeted as we arrived to check in by Lilian, taken to a truly amazing room (one of the best rooms we have stayed in anywhere in the world), and then the food prepared by a great team led by Chef Suneel, who catered to my special food requirement superbly every day. All the staff were fantastic and made us feel like honored guests - special mention to Stephen, Benson, James and Samba a in the bars and Ezekiel and Neema for meals service as well as Lilian and Chef Suneel. Very professional team, very nice to see in a new hotel. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and constantly maintained. Pools and beach fantastic!

This was the best hotel that I’ve never been to best memories of my life. I really liked everything. Customer care was hundred out of 10 they are so helpful. The service was great. The meal was so perfect. Very easy to understand the menu the workers they are we are so friendly, smiling making sure that you are so comfortable like it’s just felt like at home nothing was wrong. Everything was so excellent. I had the best memory of my life. I can never forget. there is no place compare with this. This is one of the best.

Mr. Humphrey, the charming manager, is ever eager to teacher a few Swahili phrases, while the Chef ensures your dining experience is delightful. Despite my wife's gluten intolerance, he made special efforts to prepare delicious gluten-free dishes. At Oleza, their motto rings true: 'Arrive as a guest, depart as family.'
