Gorgeous location & views, very close to public transport which is also free with their local transport card, close to shops too. Spotless and clean, large bathroom and balcony which isn’t common in Europe. Very comfortable bed, bedding and towels. Good wifi. Great restaurant downstairs. No minibar in the rooms but there is a large communal fridge where we kept our wine etc. Easy check in/out process. All ammenities listed were included. From memory this hotel had the 6 sided/elongated diamond adapter with the three prongs but a few countries we visited used either so you should prepare to travel with both anyway, we were able to get one from the shops easily as we forgot to get both at the airport.

Everything! The view is excellent, the bed was really comfortable, clean and warm lights!! I cannot stress this enough but it really feels like a hospital when hotels put white lights but fortunately this was not the case. The host was also super nice and gave us plenty of advice for the Thun area.

The location, the staff, cleanliness, the arrangement of the premises - everything was perfect! We did not have breakfast there but cooked ourselves. The convenience store on the premises is also great to buy everything you need. They were super responsive and friendly to us. The natural pool/swimming area is so peaceful. The restaurant/bar in the evening was great - we had wine while kids played with many games on the tables. It is a real family place owned and managed by a family (I think - they looked like a family at least :) )

People (personal), location, and breakfast was really nice. Small room for 1 which was enough, just separated bathroom on the next door in the corridor. The corner room had no internet which was the main minus especially if you need to work.. By 15 min walk you can find a nice 100 year old cave to go inside the past. :)

We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful. The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

This 3-star hotel is located directly on Lake Murten, surrounded by an unspoiled natural landscape and only a 10-minute walk from the small historical town of Murten. Free WiFi is available.
