From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

Our room was comfy and Clean and we were able to Here the sea. the food was excellent. we Hope to come Back one day ❤️

This hostel is amazing. I really regret not having discovered it from the beginning. I stayed fifteen days in the Valley, and before arriving at this hostel I stayed somewhere else where the service was terrible. People in the area recommended Humpback to me, and what a pleasant surprise it was! It’s a spectacular place. The staff make you feel welcome at all times; they help you with everything and turn your experience into something truly beautiful. You can tell the hostel is very well managed. In fact, the hostel manager is lovely and always attentive to your needs. The food is spectacular and delicious. Cleanliness is another aspect that really stands out, everything feels very clean and fresh. They offer a wide variety of tours, and the infrastructure of the place is impressive. You can clearly see the constant investment they make, as everything looks very well maintained. The beachfront location is fantastic; you can see the best sunsets in the entire area from this place. They also have a volleyball court on the beach, which they carefully maintain every day so it stays impeccable, a very modern guest kitchen in the middle of the jungle, and plenty of hammocks to relax in, chill music, and delicious micheladas. Without a doubt, I will be back very soon!
