Yulia was an incredible host. We took our time to have a deep conversation with her about life in Fogo. She made us feel like part of her family, she shared with us all Cape Verdean values. She is an incredible cook and an amazing woman who made this journey very special for us. The dinner was massive and extremely delicious, her chicken in tomato sauce and the vegetarian cabbage dish left us speechless. Yulia appears to be a respected member of Mosteiros society and people spoke very well of her, her neighbours gave us fruit for free and were happy to chat with us. If you speak Spanish and you are patient enough, Mosteiros and Yulia can offer you an unforgettable experience.

Very nice building, in colonial style of the town (which is on the tentative Unesco world heritage list!). The staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a really nice time! The room was very large and spacious, and we had windows on the street side (facing the sea) with amazing views.

My Fanily and I stayed 3 nights at the Hotel and can recommend it by heart. The personnel - especially Emanuel - went above and beyond to make everything happen and our stay unforgettable. Breakfast was wonderful, the Hotel one of the most beautiful Hotels i ever went to, rooms super clean and the interior a dream. Location very good - close to Restaurants, supermarkets and the sea.
