The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Hay WiFi de cortesía.... Philippe & Myriam were lovely and very helpful in suggesting restaurants things to do etc. The room was very clean and the ceiling fan was amazingly quiet and very welcome. The b&b was in a great location, so close to everything but away from the noise and bustle of Boyardville yet only 10 mins (by car) from St Pierre. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Île d'Oléron
