Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Perfect little place to visit La Cotiniere and the surrounding towns. Parking right on site. We had our own space on the second level with Bedroom, living room, dining room, and a cute little terrace that the weather sadly didn't cooperate to let us use. Coffee and confiture, among other staples, were thoughtfully provided and all appliances worked well. The apartment is very well appointed and has everything you need to be self-sufficient during your stay. It was also nice to be able to wash our clothes mid-trip while we stayed here. Our host was lovely and provided lots of information and suggestions. We will definitely stay here again.

Located in the heart of Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, Hôtel Les Pins - Oléron offers en suite accommodation, a terrace and a bar. The sea is just 100 metres from the hotel. Great location Excellent staff Beautiful views from our room including to the Friday night fireworks! Nice as base for walking, cycling and driving round the island

This hotel is situated in its own Mediterranean-style gardens on Oleron Island. It offers a heated swimming pool and is just 900 metres from beaches on the French Atlantic coast. The accommodation was excellent and the beds very comfortable. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good and always being topped up. We often had the pool to ourselves and there were plenty of sun beds available. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel Face Aux Flots is located in La Cotinière on the Ile d’Oleron, just 30 metres from the beach and 400 metres from the fishing port. Great location… lovely staff

The b&b was in a great location, so close to everything but away from the noise and bustle of Boyardville yet only 10 mins (by car) from St Pierre. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Île d'Oléron
