This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The breakfast, for a start, was an unbelievable selection served in a very grand dining hall. We were kindly offered a room upgrade to a suite, as we went in the off-season, and this was very spacious, with a beautiful balcony view of the sea. The spa facilities that were included within our stay were very well maintained, and had a fantastic sauna. We wished we could stay in Opatija at the Heritage Hotel even longer to enjoy its old world charm further.
