Stayed here before and after a mentawai trip. THIS IS HE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PADANG. Great location but the staff are what make this place. So friendly and hospital. We aye together in the evenings like a family and in the day the staff go out of their way to take you on trips to their local village or tourist spots. Highly recommend 🫶🙏

We had a nice double room with a large semi outdoor private bathroom. Everyone who works there was super kind and helpful They did my laundry for free! They got us the ferry tickets for Mentawai

Amazing place! Nabil and Alek are super helpful to organize everything, and the jungle trek was exceptional! Mershy is such a great guide (ask for him!), we spotted a lot of animals... special mention for the food during the trek (thanks Manto!)

Santi and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Bungalow was in a great location, clean, and had a great balcony to relax on. The restaurant Olalas right next door had awesome food plus had a great view of the water. There are plenty of scuba diving places in close walking distance. Robbie also has scooters to rent. Many thanks, guys, for a great stay

Nothing but love for this place! Tailana is truly paradise. Accommodation is basic, but offers all you need (and more actually). There’s even wifi at the restaurant - didn’t expect that. They offered beers. And a diving centre just opened! So many great spots for diving, and beautiful snorkelling right in front of your bungalow. I recommend booking the triangle bungalow, because they are newly renovated and have amazing ocean view. Tailana is our highlight of Sumatra, we wish we never left…

The staff is very kind, they gave free food to us and items for our food. The bungalow is maybe basic, but that's exactly why everyone comes to Bukit Lawang, back to basic! The family bungalow gives you a lot of privacy and constantly seeing monkeys in the trees. On the first evening we spotted an urang utang walking next to our bungalow!
