The cabin is beautiful! Very comfortable! And even though the bathroom is shared, it's really close and always clean. The restaurant is delicious! And the view is beautiful! But without a doubt, the best thing about it all is the staff. From the person who picked me up at the airport to everyone who works at the hotel, they all try to make you feel comfortable and like family. I definitely want to go back there. I booked my personal transport, lodging, and jungle trekk and a cooking class with them; everything was beautiful.

Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

The rooms are good and the bed is super comfy. All in all, I had an amazing stay here.

The Bungalow has everything you need: hammock, sitting area, moskito-net, even a kettle and plenty of water. It's clean, comfy and you can listen to the sounds of nature. Santi, Martin and Robi had a lot of knowledge and they are happy to help you to make you stay as enjoyable as possible. I will come back for sure - it was such a Paradise 10/10. Terima kasih banyak!

The room is very clean and comfortable, making me feel like at home. Free WiFi is also pretty good inside room, at balcony and restaurant that I did not expect in such natural environment before. Borja & Yuyun can assist all you want in the island such as transportation arrangement, watching dolphin/ snorkelling, renting car, and activity information......, etc..

I consider this an unbeatable technique. While on our tour, we met some people that told us they saw 2 orangs in 2 days, a couple that saw 1 in their whole tour, we saw 8 orangs in just 6 hours or so!! first we saw a teen orang that started following us from the tree tops, then we crossed paths with a mama orang and her baby orang, then a single male adult, then a couple male-female, one more young adult and, THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN A LONG TIME, we were tubing back down the river to the guest house and we saw this HUGE orang, it looked almost 2m and like +200lbs Breakfast was good, super good KopiSusu, omelette, banana pancakes, everything was delicious!
