Hands down the best place to stay in Japan. They have ZERO competition in regard to absolutely everything. The next time I visit Japan Crystal Exe 2 will be my home, no questions. The staff felt like friends and they never once expressed anything but joy and helpfulness. Thank you all at Crystal Exe 2 for the entire experience. The entire house is super spacious, look exactly like the picture! We are very satisfied with the house and things prepared by the host. The morning view in front of the property is simply amazing, we took a walk along the seaside just right in front of the house. Definitely recommended if you are having roadtrip towards Ine & Amanoshidate area! Dont miss this great stay!

Our stay in Atashika was one of our highlights of our whole Japan trip. This was due to the beautiful scenery and the vibe of this charming old village, but also to a great extent due to the guesthouse. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this renovated traditional kind of housing. There were lots of details, such as art from different local artists, that add to a homey feeling. The breakfast with homemade bread and different kinds of bagels, homemade mandarin juice and a few other things was superb.

The accommodation exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredible. Everything was extremely well designed, the atmosphere was unique. Crockery, kitchen appliances, furniture, etc. were a seamless part of the rest of the whole. In my more than 20 years of trips to Japan, the accommodation was definitely the best. The only thing that could be improved is that at least a core part of the written materials of the accommodation could be in English in addition to Japanese.

I stayed for six nights and It felt like home throughout my stay. The family was so sweet and welcoming and I did enjoy everyday in the charming Kumano. I had a room with beautiful sea view.
