Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Lankavatara Ocean Retreat is located in Kalametiya, 15 km from Tangalle Lagoon. The hotel was very nice ending for our Sri Lanka trip. We were travelling for our 10 year wedding anniversary and also my husbands birthday was same day of our anniversary. We spent our last 2 days in this hotel and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel was very helpful for our early check-in and late check-out sitations. The pool was very nice and clean, you can enjoy the ocean view and calm atmosphere from the pool. The restaurant and the food was amazing and really tasty. On our last night dinner i just told server Nimesh that its my husbands birthday and i want to make him a surprise little celebration with some candle and other staff. He arranged it very quickly and even they put Happy birthday song at the restaurant and my husband was just wow. Thank you, Nimesh, for this memory! Also the hotel Reception staff team was very kind and helpful, they have arranged a flower bouget surprise for us in the car during our transfer from Mirissa to Tangalle for our wedding anniversary. The room as well was nicely decorated with flowers and welcome amenities for our anniversary. Also in the mornings there was a free yoga lesson with a professional yoga instructor, we attended it and it was amazing to have it on open air. The hotel location as well was super nice, in the evenings we enjoyed amazing sunset view and you could also walk on the long beach. The hotel was just 30 minutes away from Rekawa Turtle watch, which we visited with the advise of the hotel reception and this was one of the best moments of our trips. Overall if you want to have a nice honeymoonlike stay in a resortlike property or a peaceful stay with your family and children, this hotel can be the best choice. Good Karma Hotel is located on Rekawa Beach in Tangalle, offering an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Free parking and a 24-hour front desk are available. We stayed at Good Karma for 5 nights after a tour of Sri Lanka and had a wonderful rest. Secluded beach, peace and relaxation and the best shower in Sri Lanka. We would have liked to stay a day longer, but everything was full. The prices are a little higher than in other places, but you are very secluded from the hustle and bustle. We can highly recommend the Good Karma for relaxation.

The room and facilities were of a very high standard, clean and most satisfying. The owners were really accommodating. They really could not have done anymore. They checked in on me everyday, whilst allowing me to enjoy my alone time. The breakfast was above and beyond. It felt like I was eating at a palace. They served me western and Sri Lankan food, encouraging me to try new variations. The owners themselves are just wonderful people, who will stay in my heart forever. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Amazing garden with lovely host close to Rekawa beach where you can watch turtles during night. This is really a gem where you can hang out and swim in the pool, watch lots of birds in the garden and also in the area closeby. We had fantastic meals here and our host and his staff were so observant and kind giving us great advice during our stay. Rooms are large and great. Really cosy place!

This place is so well situated near the city but staying someplace that is quiet and peaceful. It was walking distance to the only beach where I could enter the water. The other beaches that were nearby(Silent beach) had such big waves that I spent most of my days at the beach here. The apartment was perfect, with comfy bed, hot water and AC. The common area with kitchen with fridge was a nice bonus. Downstairs there is a shop which is very convenient. The best part were the kind hosts. They offered me a delicious papaya juice and a Sri Lankan snack. Highly recommend staying here for your time in Tangalle!!

We had a fantastic stay in Finch Tangalle. One of the nicest places we stayed in our Sri Lanka trip! Shenu does everything at the property, he was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great chats with him one evening 🙂 - he offered us a delicious welcome drink and a smoothie each day we were there ❤️ The hotel is located just off the roadside so is nice and quiet. The birds you hear here are wonderful. The room itself was huge, it even had a separate living room! Ours also had kitchen facilities should you require them. The pool area was very well maintained and peaceful, a lovely spot for a dip to escape the heat. A really great hotel for the price point, thanks for an excellent stay.

Objekat Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa je smešten na 9 min. hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Tangalle, a u ponudi ima smeštaj u kome su vam na raspolaganju vrt, terasa i posluga u sobi. By far the best accommodation we experienced in Sri Lanka. The beautiful garden with palm trees and lovingly arranged hammocks is absolutely stunning. We stayed in our own private wooden bungalow with a view over the open garden beneath the palms, perfectly equipped and very cozy. Outside, there were sun loungers and chairs, and the space truly invited us to practice yoga. It was actually the only place in Sri Lanka where we felt completely private and undisturbed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we didn’t miss a thing. The host was always available, incredibly kind, and very helpful. The food was excellent, with very generous portions. We were completely full every time. He even gave us a flashlight so we could see the turtles on the beach at night and offered us his scooter to go into town. If you really want to slow down, relax, and enjoy Tangalle at its best, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.

The whole premises was absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The pool is beautiful, and although the ocean was too dangerous to swim when we were there, the beach access is great to have . Our room had a view of the jungle and the ocean and had its own jacuzzi! A very special place, would definitely recommend to stay here!

I really enjoyed my stay at Helios Beach Resort. The location is excellent, right on the beach with amazing sea views. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and it was a lovely spot to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made me feel very welcome.
