Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

This is a beautiful oasis on the North part of the island of Ometepe. The property is a large piece of land with lots of pretty plants and trees, 2 friendly dogs, and some chickens. All throughout is thoughtfully crafted walkways and living spaces which are very well-kept. The dorm room felt super clean and the beds were comfortable. It is actually incredible how clean it is kept considering it is basically in the middle of nature. The ranch has plenty of hammocks and space to relax! The best part of this place is the couple that owns it, Daniella and Tony. They have a way of making everyone feel at home and bonding the guests staying there. It felt like we had our own little family for the week we stayed. They always made sure we had everything we needed from food and water to suggestions of what to do on the island. Daniella is an amazing cook and we enjoyed many delicious breakfasts of omelettes, fruits, homemade marmalade, etc. And Tony’s banana smoothies made me so happy! Everyone we met there ended up extending their stay, including us. I have never felt so comfortable anywhere I’ve stayed while traveling. This is a really special place where you can feel a little closer to home while being so far away.

Private, peaceful spot in Balgue, only a few steps away from the water’s edge. Loved waking up in the morning and being able to look straight out onto the lake. Would highly recommend this place!

It's such a beautiful and quiet spot, the staff was incredibly friendly and all facilities and rooms were spot clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor showers and the pets were adorable as well

Comfortable and clean- appreciated the coffee maker and fridge in the room. Food and drinks at the restaurant excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.

If you are looking for quiet place where you can just relax in a hammock on the terrace and jump to the water after all day trip around island this is the right place for you :) the owner is so kind, helpful and knowledgeable about island… shop and restaurants nearby… bus station on the main street- means 3minutes walk… I can just recommend it!

У помешканні Hostal Así es mi Tierra, яке розташовано в місті Balgue, за 12 км від пам'ятки "Вулкан Мадерас", до послуг гостей сад, безкоштовна приватна парковка та тераса. We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

Fabulous rooms, clean and very comfortable. Lovely views over the lake. Staff were really accommodating.booked excursions and made packed lunches. Food was great too.

Помешкання Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos розміщено у місті Santa Cruz, за менше ніж 1 км від пам'ятки "Пляж Санто-Домінго". I booked with incorrect dates and the owners was so nice to offer us a family room, that saved our stay. The restaurants breakfast was amazing.
