An exceptional stay. This beautiful dream house had absolutely everything we needed for a small family getaway and the views outside were simply stunning. Located at a really beautiful and quiet area with plenty of privacy, a drive to downtown takes approximately an hour. Kitchen is well-equipped, has everything for a good home-cooked meal. Small tip: bring your own towels. Also the host is really kind, helpful and easy to reach when anything is needed. Overall 10/10 experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and whenever we’re back in Alta, we’ll definitely book again ❤️

One of the best places we've ever been to. Steinar, our host, was extremely helpful at all times. Not that we needed him much because everything was perfect. I mean, arriving in a heated up house with chocolates and a bouquet of red roses on the table - you cannot get a warmer welcome than that! Great location - supermarket and gas station 12 km away in Vadso. Parking is front of the house. The full glass view to the sea is amazing. The beds are very comfortable. The house (studio design) was 100% clean and very modern. The kitchen was fully equipped. Great flat screen TV. A lovely fireplace. Outside there is a sauna cabin which is wood-fired with a view to the sea (no sweat (haha) at all to get it hot!). Enough wood is supplied for everything! We enjoyed the quietness - it is a wonderful place to relax and calm down from stressful days.

After a long day of cycling Trond’s place was very warm and homey to arrive to! Right on the water with a beautiful view of Varanger. At breakfast I got some freshly caught king crab from the night before! He also rented me his car to drive to Hamningberg as it was bad weather the next day, and drove me to Vardø with the bicycle! He’s also extremely knowledgeable about the area! Couldn’t ask for more!!
