We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very spacious, in an excellent location by the water and in the middle of the village. We like to cook our own meals when we travel and this place made this possible with a huge, well-equipped kitchen. It had everything needed for meal preparation. This apartment had a front door and a back door with a picnic table right outside. Inside was a huge kitchen table and comfortable living room seating facing the water front. We loved the fact that we could walk out this back door and enjoy the beautiful harbor and fjord. Another plus was that there was a super market a couple of minutes walk away. We would love to stay here again.

Jovanna's house is phenomenal - truly beyond words! 🤩🤩🤩 It is large, spacious, beautiful, super cozy, and decorated with incredible attention to detail. When we arrived, the house was already warm and fragranted wonderful. It was also spotlessly clean throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to feel at home. In fact, the entire house is designed to provide maximum comfort and wonderful atmosphere. The fireplace and infrared sauna were absolute highlights of our stay. The driveway was cleared of snow for us, and we were able to park our car conveniently in the carport. The view from the terrace, overlooking the bay and the stunning mountain landscape, is breathtaking. Thanks to the low light pollution, we could even see the northern lights from the house. For an even better view, we recommend driving up to the “Bergsbotn Utsiktsplattform.” The location on Senja is also perfect for visiting nearby hotspots and exploring the area. Jovanna is a fantastic host - extremely friendly, super personable, quick to respond, and helpful. She proactively provided us with lots of tips and information, making our stay even more enjoyable. The check-in process was very flexible and straightforward, thanks to the key box. We felt incredibly comfortable during our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. If we visit Senja again, we will absolutely book Jovanna’s house without hesitation. We can’t recommend her house enough - it was by far the best accommodation of our two-week vacation. Hosts are very nice and let us check out a bit later which was nice. Location of the house is wonderful and it was very clean. Also a lot of kitchen devices available. Overall everything was great.

Really everything was awesome! The house itself, the area around it, the host. Reidar made sure we had the best of an experience on that great Senja island. No matter if it rains or shines, the house is comfortable for hours inside as well since you can watch the fjord and mountains, the northern lights and tides throughout its magnificent window walls!
