The view is amazing to the bay, the cocktails are great and the food is delicious also. The breakfast was also really great, we are not vegetarians or vegans but it was such an amazing experience at the Verde restaurant, that I really recommend it to anybody. The food was delicious, the portions were big, we loved it. The room was very nice and the staff was so friendly, I have never experienced such care and kindness even if we travel the world. They were awesome, always keen to help us. If you go to El Nido, you should choose this hotel, you will love it! I really recommend this paradise! :)

The location is not beach front but they do offer a complementary ride to their private beach (Papaya beach). We also absolutely love all their staff which were super friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the Fire dinner buffet set up by the pool with a live band.

I spent three days looking for a place to meet my criteria: very close to nature, beautiful beaches, isolated, quiet, no parties, no children, and good rating. And I found Dryft Darocotan. Even if I don't get to see any more of the Philippines, I would feel that I saw the best of it. The beaches are white and pink. Every sunset is different. At night you can just sit and look at the stars. During day time, you can swim, paddle board, snorkel near the ship wreck, see colorful fish or spend time at the restaurant. I loved all the healthy and delicious options on the menu - even though I'm not vegetarian, I was happy to see that they had one or two vegetarian / vegan options for every meal. I chose a Hive Hut, which was very spacious and clean. Also I was surprised that insects didn't bother us at all. There were just tons of butterflies and little hermit crabs who were busy doing their things. The best part of this experience were the people working at Dryft - as helpful and friendly as all the Filipinos I've met. Thank you so much for being so kind and welcoming, Dryft crew!

WiFi is available for free throughout the property. This was our favorite place we stayed in the Philippines. The staff was really lovely. The hotel had so many lovely little extras which set it apart, like fresh fruit drinks in the fridge, turndown service, towels to borrow during daily outings, etc. The pools were great, the spa treatment we had was top-notch, the food in the restaurant was great (I especially want to thank Ian, the F&B Head, who checked in on us every day, and extended great hospitality) and the cocktails at the bar were also excellent. We stayed for a week, and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Coron!

Communication was seamless, and they went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The lodge itself is new, spotless, and beautifully designed, offering both comfort and a connection to nature. Breakfast - absolutely delicious—the eggs, toast, mushrooms were the perfect start to the day! Nico, thanks for your perfect Banana bread as well! 👌 A short walk away, we discovered one of the best beaches we visited in the Philippines—pristine, quiet, and perfect for relaxation. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in Port Barton with stunning nature, and warm hospitality, The View Lodges is the place to be! Highly recommended.

Everything was absolutely perfect from the clean, comfortable rooms to the friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was relaxing and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.
