Staff was amazing, I hope they are appreciated by the employer for the work they put in. I don’t need to mention certain staff cause they all stood out as service-minded, polite and professional. The facility and room was very clean and new. Gym had a nice view from the 11th floor and was spacious and well equipped if you compare it to many other gyms. I had high expectations and was still pleasantly surprised!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Loved this place!! I decided to make an exception and stay at a hostel (instead of getting a private room with bathroom at a hotel) because the vibe and personality of this place are just so awesome!! I ended up paying for two persons for a doubleroom, just so that I could have a private room all to myself. Great stay! Excellent customer service -Fantastic location!! P.S. after I checked out, I was supposed to do a 4 day/3 night Expedition tour from El Nido to Coron (booked through another company). When the expedition got canceled and I had no place to stay (because all accommodations in El Nido were fully booked), the girls (Ellen, Marielle, (and Celeste)) were going out of their way trying to help me find a place to stay on the island. I genuinely appreciate the care that they showed the whole time. I feel genuinely valued and cared for, not only as a hotel guest but as a guest of the Philippines. Thank you, Happiness Hostel and staff!!

I love the vibe of the hotel being private and feel like you are in a forest. The complimentary goods and drinks are also very good. The staff are hospitable and keen with the guest's needs.

We loved this place! View from the pool is unbelievable, room has a very comfy bed, the staff was smiling and helpful all the time, breakfast was excellent (with incredible croissants!) and they have FREE drinks every afternoon for the guests. We couldn’t feel more spoiled! They helped us with airport transfers and with everything we needed. It was a perfect stay.

Everything - the lovely helpful staff, the gorgeous rooms, lovely pool area to relax and really delicious breakfast! They helped us organised transfers too! And gave loads of recommendations, such a lovely family run hotel if I am ever back in Puerto Princessa I will stay here!

The Sanctuary lived up to its name. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to relax and unwind. The location - directly onto the beach was ideal. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly as was the owner, who was always on hand and did whatever he could to make our stay the best it could be. The owner was very active in helping the local turtle population and we were lucky enough to see - and assist - in the release of 3 sets of baby turtles. What a privilege. Food and drinks were available on site and well priced. We were so sad to leave.
