This hotel was a perfect base for a wonderful holiday. Each morning, the hiking bus picked me up right outside the hotel, and I’d return in the afternoon to relax by the pool and enjoy the comfort of my room. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Funchal, making it easy to explore and find great dinner options.

It's just an incredible place! I will be honest, the hotel looks very simple, but as soon as we entered our room we were enamoured and enchanted! We had a balcony overlooking the ocean which was incredibly close, we had the opportunity to not only watch the raging waves but also listen to the sound of the ocean all night long! We purposely left the balcony open at night, if you close it the konata would be quiet. The konata is great! The bed is incredibly large and comfortable, we were greeted with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine which was very nice. The room had a nice bathroom with everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was good. The breakfast, not a big buffet, had everything we needed. I had boiled eggs at my request and the staff were polite. On my birthday they brought me a cake with a candle. The view from the restaurant was also unforgettable on the ocean.

Amazing views, great location, friendly, helpful staff. We had to check out early on our last day and staff had a to go breakfast ready for us. Close to the village, which was beautiful and a great place for dinner and sunset. Highly recommend staying here.

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Unbeatable service, comfortable beds and stylish rooms, great rooftop pool and views, exceeded all expectations. Super friendly staff, would definitely come back. Obrigada!
