Such nice new rooms. Simple but everything needed for a comfortable vacation. Very clean, walkable from the pier and beach. Plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee, shops nearby. Super friendly and helpful owners made the stay easy and lovely.

We were at the very end of the season, not so many people around and this also created the atmosphere that we are almost alone in these jungles. The restaurant had smaller prices than at the beach, so it is also an important advantage. Very hospitable owners of the hotel, they will always help to take your luggage, to explore the island. Especially thanks for Lui, who helped us to organise a transfer to Koh Ngai when it is hard to find available boat at the day’s afternoon in low season.

They took such good care of us; arranging transport, finding the sunscreen we forgot on the boat and bringing it back, and even looking after me when I got sick. Their genuine concern and kindness truly stood out. Wonderful people who restore your faith in humanity. I am incredibly grateful and will never forget their help. Hope to see them again one day!

Just the best bungalows in five weeks Thailand! Loved everything. There are so many little things that makes life of a traveller easier: wall between shower and toilet, blanket ánd sheet, some shelves to put your stuff, several hangers and a teakettle. It all looks very nice as well. The people running it really make you feel at home.

Incredibly beautiful place to stay with staff who were so kind and helpful the whole stay. The resort is set up slightly on a hill so has beautiful views of the pier and the beach, which on one day we sat next to the swing in the shade and painted the scene as a family. They have towels and a beach mat to borrow to take whenever you like and a Tuk Tuk ready to take you where you need to go (for a small standard Tuk Tuk fee payable at check out). They arranged a cooking class for us which was short but still sweet and enjoyable. They also arranged a boat tour to the emerald cave (a must see) and snorkelling on Koh Kradan (another nearby beautiful island). Finally they arranged out exit from the island including a taxi from Trang to Krabi. (When we left we also forgot a bag which the hotel took back to the pier for us and put on the next boat, all while commmunicating directly with our taxi driver to keep him informed of its arrival!)

Made of wood and thatched bamboo leaves, with the front wall entirely of glass. Interiors simple and beautiful as well. We took the variant without AC but didn't get too hot due the way the huts are constructed. A fan by the bed gives plenty of air circulation. The bungalows are built on the slope of a small hill in a very well kept jungle-garden. We smiled every time we returned to ours. Great breakfasts, very nice owners. perfect in every way. While The Tropical is in the fishing village and not by the beach, you still get great wievs of the sea and have a 5 minute walk to the island's biggest beach.
