I spent one night at this lodge before starting the Quilotoa Loop and I absolutely loved it. It feels just like home — the welcome was so warm and friendly. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and very generous. The view is stunning, and you can enjoy it from your bed, the dining area, and all around the outdoor spaces. I highly recommend this place, especially for the kindness of the people.

Easy Check in and super friendly host. Great diner, where Victor met our needs as we are fructose intolerance. Bed was comfy, shower was good. Great location final stage of the Quilotoa Loop starts at the hostel. Breakfast was amazing, especially tghe cheese sandwich was insanely good. Got three of them on the Trek. Sauna for 3 USD is also available. Highly recomand to stay.

An absolutely stunning old historical building with great views from the roof. This is a proper hotel, rather than a hostel (their hostel-hostel is in the basement), so no real kitchen access, but the staff is lovely and the accomodations are super clean and comfy. I was in the 6-bed dorm (this is the only dorm which is in the upstairs hotel portion rather than in the hostel area), and it was great.

Hostal the backpackers의 각 객실에는 다음이 갖추어져 있습니다: 산 전망을 갖춘 파티오. 킬로토아 트레킹 2일차를 끝내고 만난 보석같은 숙소. 현지 가족들이 운영하는 숙소여서 마치 홈스테이를 하는 듯한 따스함을 느낄 수 있다. 번역기 돌려가며 계속 소통하려고 노력하시고, 이것저것 챙겨주려하시고 정말 너무 좋았다. 저녁식사는 정말 에콰도르 사람들이 집에서 먹을 법한 가정식을 해주시는데, 정말 여행을 하면서 먹었던 음식 중에 제일 맛있었다. 하루종일 그렇게 고생해서 배고픈 상태로 달려들었는데도 다 못먹을 정도로 양도 넉넉하게 챙겨주시고 진짜 할머니집 온 듯한 인심을 느꼈다. 괜찮은 가격으로 점심 도시락도 싸주셔서 다음날 너무 맛있게 먹었다. 밥먹고 가족분들이랑 이런저런 이야기 나눴던 건 전체 여행을 통틀어도 행복했던 기억이다.

Cabañas quilotoa is a lovely and cozy place. The owners were super helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was really good and it was good value for the price. Pizza was specially good! We got a full breakfast included in the price, and it exceeded our expectations by far. They offer unlimited coffee and tea. The rooms come with a wood stove that helped warm the room and made the experience really good. The location was perfect, a 3 minute walk to the entrance of the lagoon.
