All things considered, for the price we paid, we consider this was one of the best deals of our jordan trip. The host is sooo welcoming, he helped us with some suggestions and even took us to some spots around Wadi Musa in his car, not to mention giving us screen for our sunburn. It may not be for all people. If you re pretentious, please select a room with a price range considering your needs. This is a really cheap place, well positioned and with all the amenities we needed. I would highly recommend it.

I stayed with Mohammed and his family for 2 nights and had an unforgettable experience in Petra. They were very welcoming to me, his mom cooked the best homemade food and we also rode horses in Petra. All in all a wonderful time together! The owner of the guesthouse, Shadi, was an amazing host who provided us with tons of information about the surrounding areas. When we arrived we were kindly greeted by Mark, the Slovenian co-host, who told us interesting facts and stories about the region we were in. Later on a campfire was lit and we had an amazing night with ample refreshments. The next day, after we visited Petra, Shadi had a surprise for us and told us to meet him in the middle of the Wadi Araba desert were we had a traditional Bedouin dinner. We also did a thrilling buggy-ride through the desert just prior to arriving at the camping spot and had a lot of fun. Our days spent at Jordan Guesthouse were surely the highlight of our 10-day trip through Jordan and we can't wait to come back. The day we checked-out Shadi even managed to call the local mechanic in town to fix our slightly damaged rental car at a reasonable price. All-in-all we loved everything about our stay and wish Shadi and Mark all the best.
