It is excellently located on a quiet neighbourhood, close to San Blas. Sarah is an incredible host, she goes out of her way in every aspect to make you feel comfortable, answer questions and cares so much about each and every guest. What a fantastic place. Yes it is a little hike up a hill, but we were received with warmth from the owners and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Three of us stayed in the refugios, and our two camping mateswithout a booking were given a safe place to pitch a tent. The rooms were extremely comfy, with many blankets and had an emsuite bathroom with endless hot water. Outside the room is a lovely balcony with massage rollers, exactly what was needed this stage in the trek. The food was the best food I have had on salkantay, very veg and vegan friendly. There are coffee tours on site and a little store that sells the cheapest bread and fresh fruit/veg.when we left Mery gave us all Oreos and a banana for the road.
