Stunning setting and views. We were warmly welcomed by Antonio and Cristina. Both hosts could not do enough for us. Our best accommodation in the Douro Valley and has set the standard for all other bookings we have for our Europe trip. Guys NZ

It was located in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a new property with four spacious rooms with 12 foot ceilings. It was once part of the post office building and the owner Paulo has taken a great measure of detail in adding a postal theme to the property. If you admire history and culture you will want to meet Paulo for a wonderful orientation. Although breakfast isn’t included there is a spacious area with utensils / dishes and coffee and tea for you to prepare on your own. There is a supermarket just a four minute walk away. As with locations in many old town areas parking is not included however there was ample paid on street parking within a one minute walk.

Very comfortable, peace and quiet in a lovely small town. The hostess Katiana was exceptionally helpful. Off street parking, pool area. All good.

Loved our rooms at the 6/4 in Lamego! They were exactly as described, very clean, quiet, with good air conditioning (which was definitely needed at 38C), and an excellent breakfast. I would definitely book again
