I am writing a review because of the one really bad review on here which I don’t think is fair. We almost didn’t book because of it. This place is solid, comfortable, super clean, smart and dated. It reminded me of staying at my grandparents’ place in Switzerland as a kid. I slept really well. The location is great and it is peaceful. We used it as a base for the area and saw eg St Peter Ording, Husum and Sylt. Our kids appreciated each having a double bed!

Hotel Windschur is situated in Sankt Peter-Ording within the sand dunes and only 200 meters away from a 12 km long and 2 km wide beach.
