Cheap hotels in Szigliget

Great location, good accommodations, clean, easy access. Each room has 2 beds, its own bathroom and its own refrigerator; a little bit like in a hotel/motel room, and it can be locked. The rooms open to a breakfast area and kitchen that has the basics; a cooktop with two burners (no oven), dishes, pans, utensils, microwave, coffee pot, etc. We rented 3 of the 4 rooms, and the 4th room was not occupied, but I assume it could have been rented out for somebody else who we don't know. So, even though it's a house with 4 rooms, the set-up is a little bit like a hotel, each room is self-contained with its own fridge. We loved it! Great for a couple of days of vacation! The host was very friendly and very pleasant. Walking distance from the beach and local store. Great view! Beautiful location. We'll probably try to rent it again next year when we come back. Highly recommended!

Very clean accommodation with perfect location and parking.

The staff was kind. There was a pool with plenty of beds around, the rooms were nice and clean. There was plenty of place to unpack. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of great options. There are a lot of bikes that you can just take when going into the centre with no hassle at all.

This is the best place I’ve stayed. The place is beautiful with everything you need, even a jacuzzi and gorgeous views of the lake or garden. The owners are wonderful and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to staying by the Lake or exploring the area. This place has a special place in my heart forever.

Staff was super friendly and attentive at reception and breakfast as well. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC worked really well on the very hot day we arrived. Breakfast had a good selection of warm and continental breakfast options, everything was tasty. The pool and hot tub seemed nice, although we ended up not using it. There is a nice lounging area outside the pool to sunbathe. At reception you can buy ice cold drinks and wines to take back to your room and enjoy on the spacious balcony. Wish we stayed longer and hope to come back!

The food was delicious (breakfast and dinner were included in our price), the staff kept filling in dishes and cleaning up constantly. The hotel's hot and cold pools were awesome. We enjoyed the walk to the beach (it really is so close and the hotel provides beach access). Rooms were comfortable. Overall it was clean everywhere. The vegetation around the hotel is beautiful. Convenient parking on premises.

The food was amazing, breakfast and dinner both.

Charming amd friendly staff, they made our stay extraordinary. The view was spectacular even this time of the year. The food and mathcing drink selections were incredible, especially the non-alcoholic ones.

We wanted a quiet location with a good view of Lake Balaton for both relaxation and a home base for our adventures in the Balaton highlands. We were able to travel easily to Tapolca to see the cave lake, see the charming local rural towns, and the Szigliget castle, as well as access the local beach. The unit was comfortable for four adults, the kitchen and 2 bathrooms were well equipped. The host, Laci was very responsive, a good communicator, flexible and very kind. We would return without reservation.

The view is magnificent. BBQing on the terrace was the highlight of our evenings. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are comfy. Everything was perfect.

Great location. You can walk around the vineyards - and enjoy the amazing view. Furthermore, the place has a very interesting historical background. The host is very friendly, helpful and fun. We will for sure recommend!

The studio apartment is small (the size of a hotel room) but works for 2 people for a short stay. It's a quiet place close to the lake. Directions and instructions from the owners were clear and easy to follow. Parking and entry was a snap. And we were lucky to meet the owners as we had some questions. They gave us extra towels upon our request. The kitchenette was well equipped though we had some problems with the cooktop. Its sliding scale didn't work properly. A big plus was A/C. We kept it working at night because otherwise the room quickly gets stuffy. A nice back porch could be useful and pleasant in warm weather. The price makes sense for the summer time as the apartment is very close to the beach. At the end of September the beach season was well over, and while driving around we found many better and cheaper accommodations, which we hope one day will find their way to Booking.com.

This house was so cozy, clean and perfectly equipped. The hosts really thought of everything. We were there around Christmas and there were tasteful holiday accents including cocoa powder and marshmallows :) The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need to cook. You could easily stay for a week or month with an entire family and be comfortable here. We especially loved all the finches that would perch on the tree right outside the kitchen window (enticed by bird seeds!). We would definitely stay here again.

A very cozy little apartment in the middle of the village, right next to the beautiful mountain range of Lake Balaton - both Badacsony and St. George Hill is very close, there's a hiking route leading straight up to the mountaintop (it's a rough excersise though). Authentic wine restaurant and a general store is in walking distance. Also there are two very friendly cats in the garden.
