Visiting Lebanon for the first time, I was happy to stay at Damask Rose Guesthouse, which has a cozy atmosphere, kind staff, and a dedicated director, who went out of his way to accommodate the guests. Being alone, with no car, he or his staff gave me rides to stores and businesses. Translated for food delivery services and were always eager to help. Mr. Hicham, the director, organized tours all over Lebanon, and I was lucky to benefit from his knowledge about the best places to visit, in more traditional or trendy towns. Walking through the old neighborhoods of Beirut brought to life its golden age and splendor. Grateful for the service.

The rooms of the hostel are clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful. The owners, Hicham and Ana, are so kind and welcoming. The space, from the living room to the swimming pool area, is colorful, joyful and full of character. I would recommend it to everyone! :) Also for solo female travellers since the rooms are divided between boys and girls, and the room of girls has its own terrace.

You really get what you pay for here. The hotel is surrounded by nature, very calm and relaxing — perfect if you want to disconnect. The food is amazing, honestly. Please do yourself a favor and try it — it’s the best Lebanese food I’ve had so far. The hospitality is exceptional: the staff are lovely, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.
